The Tree!

And what a tree it is! A huge 400+ year old Oak tree. The customer had seen the work we had done on other large historic trees in the area and called us in to do some dead wood removal, a sympathetic reduction and also a general health check.

The great news is that the tree is in excellent health and unless there are any unforeseen circumstances will dominate the road between Waverton and Tattenhall for many many years to come.

Customer very happy and Tree-Works team happy for having the privilege to work on another historic tree.

The Hedge!

Unruly hedges are nothing unusual in this line of work. Usually they are either tall and unruly or wide and unruly! However when they are tall and wide as in the case of this customers hedge it can be a good challenge.

A challenge that we delivered and the customer was more than happy with.

The Stump Grind!

Usually we get asked to grind one, two maybe three stumps, this job however was a total of roughly sixty stumps!

The reason for so many was an area of overgrown scrub land for a regular customer of Tree-Works was being turned into grazing pasture for of all things reindeer (Reindeer lodge Leeswood) and the reason for the stumps being ground was twofold:

1) To allow good access for a mower.

2) Most importantly so the reindeer don’t damage themselves by tripping on the stumps.

After a lot of sweat and effort the project was delivered and there are now reindeer enjoying a new area of pasture.
